We hope that in time Anaqaa Apparel will become a brand known for lifting up a community of women. Our public launch at FC Designer retail shop "Kimonos & Canapes" welcomed supporters from different backgrounds and was an opportunity for the general public to see the range and try on our garments.
We were delighted that Jeremy Corbyn MP joined us and made a short speech thanking Majida for the work she has done saying, "I think it is absolutely fantastic what you have achieved. So many women around here have amazing skills, and fantastic praises [are] deserved to you for what you have achieved and you have changed the lives of a lot of local people".
