Eid celebrations with the community

Eid shopping day at Andover community hub

Jannaty's fashion brand Anaqaa Apparel held an Eid shopping day for local people in the Andover Community Hub to provide local people with the opportunity to buy clothes, scarves, perfumes and some tasty treats in preparation for Eid. We had an unexpected, but very welcome visit from Cllr Asima Shaikh who has always been a great supporter of Jannaty and now, Anqaa Apparel too.

Eid event celebrating global traditions

On the 22nd May, we have booked Redmond hall for a big Eid celebration. The event is for women and young children, to celebrate Eid with traditional songs, nasheed, music and of course, wearing our traditional clothes. You are all welcome, but please do book your ticket asap as they are selling fast! (details in the poster)

We are grateful to our funders Action for Race Equality and Islington Giving Cripplegate Foundation for helping us to get Anaqaa Apparel off the ground and offering community events to inspire and uplift women in the community.
