Jannaty joined other small businesses by setting up a stall at the Fonthill Road Festive Fashion Market on Saturday 4th December. Our stall had some unique handmade, upcycled items for the festive season. We had a lovely time meeting local residents and seeing the creativity within our community of start-ups. It was a great opportunity to showcase small businesses and for Jannaty, it was an opportunity to demonstrate the skills of our members and hopefully set them on their way to become micro-business women. We were delighted that the Mayor of Islington Cllr Troy Gallagher visited our stall and purchased some items. There was good humour with our volunteers and staff keeping up the jolly spirits. We are grateful to be part of this diverse Islington community.
