Jannaty Charity Boutique helping to support Afghan families in Islington

Jannaty has supported Islington’s response to resettling 15 Afghan families. After an urgent message was sent around to our contacts, we registered 15 volunteers who were able to speak Pashto, Dari and Farsi to provide interpreting services.

Jannaty provided families with free clothing, toys, books, shoes and jewelry from our charity boutique shop.

We especially want to thank the Finsbury Park Trust for supporting this project by allowing us to use their premises for free over a period of two weeks.

We are delighted to help these families settle in the UK and escape the dangers in Afghanistan, we believe that
