Last year Fashion Enter opened a creative store and hub – the FC Designer Collective on Durham Road. This is a unique collaboration between Islington Council the Mayor of London, Fashion Enter and Local designers and start-ups. Jannaty's Director, Majida Sayam and some of our members attended the launch with Jeremy Corbyn MP and local councilor Asima Sheikh. This is a great opportunity for our members to realise their dreams and begin their journey to becoming small business owners. Jannaty will deliver sewing classes weekly at the affordable workspace. We will benefit from factory-grade machinery, working with other designers in the workspace. As well as there is an opportunity for individuals to learn about building a brand, sourcing materials and marketing products. Some of the items produced will be sold in the FC Designer collective creative store on Fonthill Road.
