Jannaty organised a wonderful get together, where women were able to dress up, dance, sing and share tasty traditional foods at our cultural event 'Khair Baladi' (Gifts from my country). It was a fully packed evening where we got to know more about each other's cultures; seeing the beautiful party clothing, traditional foods and learning about special ceremonies for weddings and marking the arrival of a baby. It was a wonderful evening and the feedback received strongly tells us our members would like more of these women only celebratory events - please bear with us as we hope our funders and supporters will recognise the immeasurable benefits of these social events, so we can plan even more!
