We are delighted to share that our Director, Majida Sayam, received the Points of Light Award for 'exceptional service' from Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak.
The certificate from 10 Downing Street is welcome recognition of the work Majida has been doing to establish Jannaty as a community hub since the 1980's.
We are pleased that the Prime Minister has recognised Majida's relentless efforts to support minoritised women providing training, reducing isolation and creating opportunities through our community clothing brand, Anaqaa Apparel, to improve their employment prospects and financial independence.
